I am a witness
To Dr. Lynn Burgess
My surroundings are different,
I'm not the same but I'm still me.
Where I came from and where I am now is evident that I am where I'm supposed to be.
I am a witness to God's will with my own eyes He clearly shows to me.
Giving me peace where I am, giving me strength to set the regrets of my past free.
You've invited me into your home which is an amazingly great place,
No more running, apparently
life is not a race.
I cannot express nor could words explain the respect and gratitude I have for you a live angel with such compassion, patience and guidance helping me to distress and untangle.
Your teaching me and I'm beginning to learn, you help me feel safe, some places I don't have to ever return.
It's amazing being a witness,
God is so great,
Here I am where I'm supposed to be physically in this very space.
I want to say thank you, but thank you is just too small.
So I will pay it forward maybe someday my phone will ring and someone like me will call.
So here I am with you,
Your intentions so genuine, your heart so true.
I'm a witness, everyday God gives me something so real that with my own two eyes I can't deny I see.
It's so clear now that all this is so much bigger than me,
I am a witness when I say this;
I am where I'm supposed to be.
